Warren is six weeks old today and we have observed something new about his personality...he is not going to be out done by his big sister. So far he is matching her milestone for milestone. Veronica rolled over (belly to back) at two weeks, and we were very excited when Warren accomplished the same milestone also at two weeks. Between four and five weeks, Veronica and Warren both gave Daddy their first smiles. And at six weeks he has matched her for something else that made his Mommy and Daddy very restfully happy this morning. Veronica was sleeping through the nights consistently at 6 weeks (she started this at 3 days old). She would go down around 11 PM and wake up at 5 AM. Warren, too, slept through the night last night. He went down at 10:30 PM and woke up at 4:30 AM. And just like his big sis', after his early morning feeding he easily went back to sleep for a couple of more hours. We now have our fingers crossed and hoping he will be consistent because 6 hours of non-interrupted sleep feels like a vacation once you leave the newborn sleep-feeding schedule!
Veronica was 23 and 1/2 inches and weighed 14.8 lbs at her eight week checkup. Warren weighed 12.4 lbs at the doctor yesterday, so we'll just have to wait and see if he can match her for size as well.
