As I write this, Warren will officially be 2 weeks old in about five minutes (at 3:51 PM) and he had his two week check up today. He weighed 8 lbs and 11 oz-- just an ounce shy of gaining a full pound since birth. His doctor said that the average baby gains between a half ounce to an ounce a day, but Warren has averaged two ounces a day. He has grown two inches since March 4th, making him 21 and 1/2 inches long now. He was in the 50th percentile for his weight and 75th for his height.
He also lost his umbilical cord today, so he has a normal belly button and can take a real bath now!
