We all survived V's two month checkup. The four vacinations were a little traumatic for all of us, but not nearly as awful as the day that 4-day old V was stuck in both feet and both arms by a nurse trying to get blood for the jaundice testing. The needles were as long as V's leg is thick and the shots caused her to cry and bleed a little bit; however, after lots of tender-loving care, two band-aids and a little baby tylenol, she is doing much better. The doc said that we definitely have a blue-eyed little girl--because of the blue color that they are, he said that the chances of them turning green or grey were very unlikely. V weighed 14 lbs and 8 oz and she was 23 and 1/4 inches long.
