There you have it - DO NOT TIE PACIFIER AROUND BABY'S NECK AS IT PRESENTS A DANGER OF STRANGULATION. I'm glad they cleared that up.
For the record, I had imagined an elastic string around her head, like a Lone Ranger/Green Hornet/Zorro mask, not so much one around her neck, but I suppose that's like saying, "it's not shaking, it's vibrating".
I'm surprised that it doesn't also say "Never, ever shake a baby". Because, you know, that's a parent's first impulse in solving any baby-related problem. Baby's hungry? Shake her! Dirty diaper? Shake her!
It's only through the dilligence of the child care industry telling us at every turn, "never, ever shake a baby" that we are able to fight away this impulse. I think the last time we were at Babies R Us, there was a barbershop quartet following us around the store reminding us, "If you shake that baby, we will tell/they'll make a spot for you in Hell."
